It's that time of year again. School is about to start, so please join us at the Ashland Open House to find your child's new classroom and get a chance to meet their teacher. If you ordered a back-to-school supplies kit last Spring, it should be in your child's classroom. You can also drop off additional school supplies so that your child won't have to carry them in on the first day of school. CLICK HERE TO GO BACK TO THE INDEX Name: Ident-A-Kid Where: Ashland Elementary Story Room When: Monday September 24,2007 When: 9:30AM to 3:45PM Cost: $10.00 Description: The Ident-A-Kid Program will be coming to our school sometime in September! This nationally recognized child identification program will make wallet-sized ID cards that contain a complete physical description of your child, including a photo and fingerprint. The ID also contains important information about what to do if your child is missing. More detailed information will be sent home with your child once school starts. Audiences enjoy discovering what reptiles are, what makes them different from birds and mammals, and how important they are in our environment. Many of the myths and misconceptions are dispelled, instilling a greater appreciation and understanding of these fascinating reptiles. Come enjoy the game with family and friends and cheer on the home team! Wear our school colors to show your support for Ashland and the Potomac Nationals! Look for the Potomac Nationals mascot, SLAM at our school on Tuesday, March 25th! This is a fund raiser for our school and we will make 50% profit on every ticket sold! All proceeds will go to the Playground Fund. Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets to be the lucky winner to throw the first pitch of the game. The Ashland Elementary PTO will once again sponsor this program offering Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, French and German. Classes will be offered before and after school. Classes will meet weekly starting in October and end in April. The classes will also perform as part of the International Festival in March.
